Have you heard of University Park, Texas? It’s a lovely city located just east of Dallas Love Field Airport. The locals there sure know how to enjoy good food and good company. So, I was excited when I got a notification from my Nextdoor app about a new bakery and coffee shop in the area.

Dallas mother and daughter Alison and Ashley Sage Weinstein along with chef Jill Bates are serving up a curated selection of lovely bakery bites in this University Park spot. The name gives away the flavor profile: the sweets are not too sweet, like the cruffin brioche which combines a croissant and a muffin for a substantial bite that has the savory butter of a croissant and is often sprinkled with hard sugars and cinnamons to create an out-of-the-ordinary breakfast. It also offers a robust selection of cupcakes, cookies, and brownies in flavors that frequently change with the seasons.
